Visiting Iceland felt like visiting another planet. Since it’s a volcanic island, most of the sand and rock is black and the mountains are steep and jagged.
I visited in June, when the sun only sets for 3 hours every night. Iceland rarely has clear skies, but I was fortunate enough to see the sun on my first day there.
